The Walking Dead: Dead City continues on Sky Atlantic and streaming on NOW . The second episode of the third season, “Sanctuary,” arrives on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 , following the season’s debut on July 28.

The Walking Dead spin-off series , inspired by Robert Kirkman 's graphic novel , reunites two iconic characters from the franchise: Maggie Greene ( Lauren Cohan ) and Negan Smith ( Jeffrey Dean Morgan ), longtime enemies forced into a forced alliance in the ruins of a post-apocalyptic Manhattan filled with the undead.

In the third season, the two must face new threats, such as the expansion of New Babylon , as they try to create the first thriving and sustainable community in the destroyed city. The season consists of eight episodes , released weekly.
