Danger Money, the series starring Ray Winstone on Prime Video

Ray Winstone and Alex Kingston lead the cast of Danger Money , the new action comedy series from Prime Video . The six-episode production has begun filming and marks Winstone's first role on the Amazon platform.

The plot

Winstone plays Alan “Razor” Sharp , a former SAS operative haunted by a failed mission in the 1990s that killed his best friend and destroyed his reputation. Years later, still burdened by guilt, he is drawn back into the world he left behind when an old friend (Sean Pertwee) makes him an offer he can’t refuse. Matters come to a head when Razor arrives in Italy and finds himself on the run with his “nephew” Jamaal (Arian Nik) and the mysterious Roxy (Alex Kingston), caught in the middle of a violent conspiracy. He must fight to prove his innocence and protect those closest to him.

The cast

In addition to Kingston as Roxy, the cast also includes Iain Glen (Game of Thrones) as Razor's old friend, Mimi Keene (Sex Education) as the mysterious Ana, and Kara Tointon (The Hunger Games) as Maggie, Razor's daughter. The cast is rounded out by Sean Pertwee , Arian Nik , and Oliver Maltman , who plays Maggie's partner, Gavin. The series is written by Harry and Jack Williams , with screenplays by David Crow and Oliver Maltman.

The release date for Danger Money on Prime Video has not yet been announced.
