New cast members have been announced for Heated Rivalry 2 , the series based on Rachel Reid 's novels . After a first season focused on Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov , the second chapter expands the series' world with new characters.

The new entries

Newcomers include Charlie Gillespie as Troy Barrett , a hockey player deeply rooted in his "bad boy" persona, grappling with toxic masculinity and the fear of coming out. Alongside him, Justice Smith will play Harris Drover , a lifelong Ottawa Centaurs fan, cheerful and sociable, the perfect foil to his partner.

Daniel Diemer will play Ryan Price , an enforcer with a past already hinted at in the first season: a tough guy who actually hides crippling anxiety and a painkiller addiction related to his role. Shaheen Jafargholi will play Fabian Salah , a musician who grew up around hockey players and dislikes sportsmen, until fate brings him back together with Ryan.

The other entrances

Rounding out the cast for season two are Emily Hampshire (Vanessa), Edvin Ryding (Luca Haas, a member of the Ottawa Centaurs), Robert Naylor (Wyatt Hayes), Sabrina Jalees , and Priyanka (Tarek). The cast members from season one have also been confirmed.

The second season of Heated Rivalry will adapt The Long Game , the sixth book in the Game Changers series, and will continue the story of Shane and Ilya. A release date has not yet been officially announced.
