On Tuesday, September 1, 2026, Verità nascondenti (Hidden Truths ), the new Videonews program hosted by Milo Infante , debuts in prime time on Rete 4. The program premieres at 21:30 p.m. with a format dedicated to in-depth analysis of major news stories and unsolved crimes.

The program

After years of hosting Dritto e rovescio , Milo Infante is testing himself with a new weekly show: Verità nascondenti (Hidden Truths ), a talk show that reopens the files of cases that have marked Italian news, giving voice to victims' families, lawyers and investigators.

"Behind every unsolved news story there's a story waiting to be told, a truth that must be revealed" is the slogan of the program, which aims to reconstruct complex events through exclusive testimonies and previously unpublished documents.

The first episode

The opening evening opens with the case of Denise Pipitone , the little girl who disappeared on September 1, 2004 in Mazara del Vallo : 22 years later, the words of her mother Piera Maggio and her biological father Piero Pulizzi rewind the tape of an unsolved story.

Then there is space for the desecration of Pamela Genini's tomb , with investigators working to trace the perpetrator of the act, and for the Garlasco case , with unpublished documents on alleged misdirections and errors in the initial investigations and comments from lawyers Giada Bocellari and Liborio Cataliotti and from the Poggi family consultant Dario Redaelli.

The episode closes with the Pietracatella mystery : eight months after the death of Antonella and her daughter Sara from ricin poisoning , the investigation by the Larino Prosecutor's Office could be close to a turning point.
