Earthquake in Naples, new tent structure in via Terracina for the displaced by bradyseism

La Campania region, In collaboration with the City of Naples, has started the construction of a emergency tent structure in via Terracina, in front of theSan Paolo hospital. The new Reception Area It was set up to accommodate people displaced by the phenomenon of bradyseism which is affecting the Campi Flegrei.

What are the characteristics of the tent structure?

The pavilion, made available by the Civil Protection Department, will have a surface area of 180 square meters and will be able to accommodate up to 50 GuestsThe installation was made possible thanks to the intervention of the Civil Protection of the Campania Region, with the support of 30 units of SMA Campania staff.

What services will be guaranteed?

The Reception Area is designed to ensure maximum comfort and safety for the displaced. Among the services provided:

• Heated structure to deal with adverse weather conditions;
• Generator set to ensure continuity of electricity supply;
• Lighthouse tower to ensure adequate night-time lighting;
• First health reception point managed byASL Napoli 1 Center, with two clinics and aambulance ready to go.

Who will manage the tent structure?

The Reception Area will be managed by City of Naples, with the support of Civil Protection volunteering, providing a safe point of reference for those who have had to leave their homes.
