Al PalaVesuvio by Ponticelli i will take place European Artistic Gymnastics Championships in 2024, a competition that will also be used for the qualifying for the Paris Olympics. Specifically, they will be held from 24 to 28 April for the men's competitions and from 1 to 5 May for the women's ones (although these dates may be subject to changes).
The competition will see competing both male and female athletes and our country will host it for the third time after the previous editions in Rome and Milan, respectively in 1981 and 2009.
This assignment is definitely reason for great prestige around the city and we will have the opportunity to admire the feats of excellent athletes.
Naples as a venue for major sporting events
The structure was already the seat ofUniversiade of 2019 and just then it was objects of works that made it suitable for hosting sports competitions.
The gymnastic competitions that took place there two years ago, the almost complete renovation and the commitment of the Campania Region have played an important role in choosing Naples as the venue for the next European Artistic Gymnastics Championships.
A milestone that follows in the wake of other competitions that took place in the city and that will also be held in the coming months, such as the Swimming League which in September will be hosted by the Scandone Pool.
