After the months of closure and inactivity due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the wonderful Archaeological Park of the Phlegraean Fields in Naples, starting January 18, 2021 reopens to the public.
For the visit it is mandatory to buy the ticket online to the site indicated in the information mirror, the reductions and free tickets remain confirmed e there are no further additional costs.
So let's see which sites will be open again.
Archaeological Museum of the Phlegraean Fields in the Castle of Baia
The beautiful Castle of Baia which was built between 1490 and 1493 by the Aragonese and subsequently enlarged during the Spanish Viceroyalty, houses inside the Archaeological Museum of the Phlegraean Fields which is divided into several sections:
- Cuma Section II level
- Pozzuoli section I level
- Section Rione Terra III level
- Exhibition The visible, the invisible and the Sea (Sala Polveriera)
- Liternum Room (Entrance courtyard)
The Museum can be visited 09:00 am - 14:30 am with last admission at 13:00. On Saturdays and Sundays it is closed to the public.

Archaeological Park of the Terme di Baia
The Archaeological Park of the Baths of Baia it was subjected to important excavations in 1941, which revealed a particular stratification of buildings, villas and spa complexes. Among the most significant remains are the great Temple of Mercury, of Diana and the Temple of Venus.
The complex can be visited from Monday to Friday 09:00 am - 16:20 am, with last entry at 15:20.

Archaeological Park of Cuma
The Archaeological Park of Cuma corresponds to an area that extends over 50 hectares and includes the Sibyl's Cave, the Byzantine Tower with the Belvedere, the Lower Terrace, also called the Temple of Apollo, and finally the Upper Terrace on the top of Monte di Cuma, or the Temple of Jupiter.
The park can be visited from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 16:20, with last admission at 15:20.

Flavian Amphitheater of Pozzuoli
The Flavian Amphitheater of Pozzuoli it dates back to the second half of the XNUMXst century AD, and is one of the largest amphitheaters in Italy, after the Colosseum and the Campanian amphitheater, with a truly remarkable capacity. It rises between two important streets: Via Domiziana and the road to Naples.
The site will be open from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 16:20, with last admission at 15:20.

For this new opening the Archaeological Park of the Phlegraean Fields has adopted a series of measures to guarantee a visit in complete safety. In fact, a new system of visits has been adopted with thereduced and limited entrances and differentiated entry and exit routes, with mandatory use of the mask, social distance of at least 1 meter, measurement of body temperature which must be less than 37,5 degrees.
