During the ceremony, among the many personalities, also present the children of the artist who a Terzigno carry on the Emblem Museum.

The aim of the exhibition is to celebrate the work of Savior Emblem, an artist who has been able to unite the essential and traditional elements of his land to the abstract language of American matrix in his works created between the 60s and 70s.

The exhibition “Savior Emblema. The Matter of Heaven" is curated by Sylvain Bellenger with the historical-scientific support of the Emblema Museum. It is based in particular out of five major pictorial works dating back to the first half of the 60s, a period in which Salvatore Emblema experimented a material and gestural research, often using oval and square shapes that recall Pompeian painting and seem to open hypothetical windows within the painting, jokingly calling them "self-portraits".

The artist has also added ash and volcanic sands to the coloristic mixture, also using wooden utensils and metal to create large or nervous movements and probe the depth of the jute canvas, which is considered as a material in its own right instead of a support for the chromatic matter. This period marks the “cooling down” of Emblema's pictorial approach and the “rethinking” of jute canvas as a transparent material.

Also, there's a phrase that reads "Painting smoothes your eyes but sharpens your horizon" together with an artistic installation which frames the airport landscape from the windows overlooking the runway. The work of Salvatore Emblema, an artist passionate about the landscape, intends to involve the visitor through his works which become means of connection between man and the environment in which he lives. This is just one of many installations with le historical phrases of the artist.
