A theatrical show set in the underground Neapolis: a journey into the afterlife to meet the disturbing presences of the underground world of the San Lorenzo Maggiore Complex!
Saturday 28 December 2019 at 19:00 will be on stage in the beautiful Monumental Complex of San Lorenzo Maggiore the theatrical itinerary The ghost of Christmas past.
The show organized byCultural association NarteA will allow all guests to participate in this fantastic itinerary that will be staged in the rooms of the Neapolis buried.
The Ghost of the past Christmas
The author Fabio Quercia for this show he was inspired by the ideas expressed in Cantata dei Pastori by Roberto De Simone, where it is told how Christmas belongs to the cycle of pagan winter festivals, during which exchanges and relations with the underground world take place.
During the ghost of the past Christmases, in fact, the public will be led to the underground rooms of San Lorenzo Maggiore, where the ancient Neapolis was located, and will meet the disturbing presences who live in this world where past and present merge, but also Christianity and paganism.
In fact, it will be one of the custodians of the purging souls to open the way for the return of some characters linked to the past history of Naples just like the Spirit of the past Christmas told by Dickens in his Christmas carol. To participate it is mandatory to book.
