In the wonderful MANN, the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, from Friday 9 September 2021 and until Monday 10 January 2022 the interesting exhibition entitled Homer, Iliad. The works of MANN among the pages of Alessandro Baricco.

It will be an intense and special exhibition that will collect about fifteen exhibits dating back to the sixth and fourth centuries BC and which will try to establish a dialogue between traditional iconography and the reinterpretation, certainly original, of Homer's Iliad by the writer Alessandro Baricco.

At the center of the exhibition's attention Homer, Iliad: the works of MANN among the pages of Alessandro Baricco, which will be hosted by the Neapolitan Museum, will be theHerm of Homer, a work dating back to the XNUMXnd century AD and part of the MANN Farnese collection.

The beautiful sculpture, from 9 to 11 September, will be temporarily exhibited in the Cappelletta di Terra Murata in Procida, on the occasion of MARethics, or the cultural event curated by Baricco, one of the many events organized for the project # VersoProcida2022.

On 9 September, Alessandro Baricco, will be present as a guest at the presentation of the exhibition at MANN, and then he will head to the island together with the director of the Museum.
