Paolo Rossi on stage at the Teatro Bellini in Naples with L'amore is a blue dog

Paolo Rossi staged his latest show "Love is a blue dog" at the Bellini Theater, in the full surreal and imaginative style that distinguishes it

From the 5 to 10 2013 November, actor, comedian and songwriter Paolo Rossi will be on stage at Teatro Bellini with his last show Love is a blue dog, the conquest of the East.

In the unmistakable style, visionary and imaginative that distinguishes it, Paolo Rossi tells us a story that is partly autobiographical, in part a reflection on the current condition of our country "Where passion has disappeared everywhere, in sentimental ties as well as in those with one's community (once called politics)". In this chaotic and confusing context a man gets lost in a magical night in the Karst mountains, at 300 meters from where he was born but who now sees “The only place where the fairy tales of lost lovers and betrayed passions still live”.

Love is a blue dog it is a show defined by the same Paolo Rossi, “A lyrical and humorous popular visionary concert. It tells of a tragic loss and a comic rebirth ", which could have been called in many ways and instead is called "Love is a blue dog"; because both are two animals that are difficult even to imagine ...

Between stories of childhood and adolescence, dreams and memories of a distant or recent life, quotes from Othello, Brecht, Beckett, Ungaretti and the myth of Orpheus and Euridice, in a completely surreal, grotesque, satirical atmosphere, the show by Paolo Rossi will be accompanied live by the Balkan smooth orchestra “I Virtuosi del Carso”.
