The Eav has communicated that the Naples-Piedimonte Matese railway line will be back in service since Wednesday November 24, 2021.
The restoration of the service will be total and the new timetables will be in effect from 24th November until 11th December. The times will change later, but for the moment we have no information regarding that period, so we will publish them when they are communicated.
The timetables of the railway
From Monday to Saturday they are on duty 20 trains all direct, while on Sundays and public holidays the service will not be carried out. To know all the timetables in detail, see the complete table.
The new investments on the railway line
These days it is the news that the regional council has given the go-ahead for a investment of 30 million euros to upgrade the line, giving a mandate to Eav for build a causeway that connects the treats Santa Maria Capua Vetere-Capua.
In this way, 7 level crossings will be eliminated and mobility between the two municipalities will be eased.
