Organized for 27 September 2013 “The European researchers' night” with experiments, lectures and classical music concerts.

In this excited climate in which the Research finds in front of it an increasingly unpaved and difficult road, INAF try to extend a hand by informing and informing citizens about the various research activities active in our territory.

Thus it is thus that the 27 September 2013 from 17:00 22.30 was organized at the Capodimonte Astronomical Observatory "The European night of researchers“, Scientists and scholars who too often are forced to give up research on their own territory.

An informative event in which the Observatory researchers will make their scientific activity public to visitors, citizens and schools through talks, presentations, concerts, experiments, visits, conferences and much more.

An event not to be missed absolutely to give its support to the world of science.

Here the program event:

From the 17: 00 to the 20.30:

  • Historical presentation of the Capodimonte Astronomical Observatory
  • The researcher's corner: a direct contact point with researchers to discover the mysteries of the Universe
  • Organized visit to the Planetarium
  • Visit to the Mediano Circle
  • Screening of astronomical films with a popular value
  • Public experiments in optics and fluid dynamics

At 20: 30

  • Public conference of Prof. Luigi Colangeli ESA (European Space Agency)
    "The European space challenges for the exploration of the Solar System"

At 21: 30

  • Classical music concert: on the piano Francesco Pareti, will perform music by Schubert (Sonata DV the major) and
    Chopin (Ballade sol min.Op.23-Fantasia ago min opus 49-Improvviso sol b magg.)

Entrance is strictly price quotation.

Access to the Planetarium is in groups of 50 people in order of arrival in 5 scheduled shifts at: 17,17: 45,18: 30,19: 15,20.
