The suggestive Caves of Pertosa finally reopen to the public: you can navigate on an underground river!

The suggestive caves of Pertosa Auletta they finally reopened to the public starting from 1 July 2020, it is a wonderful place on our land and the only speleological site.

Visitors who discover the Pertosa Caves will be able to take part in a truly amazing experiencein fact you can navigate on an underground river, or the Negro, on a journey through this incredible place.

The visits will take place in compliance with the anti-Covid standards 19in fact, to participate it will be necessary make a reservation to allow limited admissions with groups of 12 people at a time equipped with a mask, moreover all the places will be sanitized continuously.

The Caves of Pertosa

The extraordinary Groutes of Pertosa they are also the only ones in Europe to preserve the remains of a pile-dwelling village dating back to the second millennium BC, a real natural museum that will allow you to know its history.

Also inside the Caves a very particular photo of one was taken stalactite and a stalagmite that are about to join after more than 20.000 years, simulating a real kiss of nature. In short, a magical place that is really worth visiting.

  • Saturday and Sunday 10.30, 11.15, 12.00, 12.45, 15.00, 15.45, 16.30, 17.15
  • Monday closed

Price: € 13,00 for adults, € 10,00 for children aged 6 to 15 and for over 65s
