Great party a Sant'Antonio Abate in the province of Naples with the porchetta fair also full of shows, with Sal Esposito and Monica Sarnelli in concert and also a dance show. We are talking about the 25th edition of the Sant'Antonio Abate Fair and the 42nd Sagra della Porchetta which will be held from 13 to January 22 2023.
It is two events taking place at the same time to celebrate the patron saint of Sant'Antonio Abate. In both appointments, which merge into a single event, the absolute protagonist is the food, especially porchetta but also other local specialties. In addition, there will be shows, music and lots of stands.
A hymn to the Porchetta di Sant'Antonio Abate
The Festival of Porchetta takes place every year in the month of January and has its roots in 1700 where the population of Sant'Antonio Abate yes met with that of neighboring areas to swap livestock and local products.
Over the years, it has become a tradition offer to all participants in the fair the Porchetta and it is for this reason that this local food, in addition to being known and famous throughout Campania, became a forte seeds remembered every year.
