The wonderful Royal Palace of Naples reopens to visitors with new lighting and lots of new features!

The Royal Palace is closed in compliance with the anti-Covid provisions applied in the orange regions.

The majestic Royal Palace of Naples reopens its doors to visitors with a special novelty, it will in fact be a real one Autonomous museum and with a new director: Mario Epifani, which began its activity shortly before the forced closure for Covid-19.

The Royal Palace will have a new lighting, built in recent months will enhance the beautiful historic apartments inside, together with the works of art including the frescoes Francesco De Mura and Domenico Antonio Vaccaro.

Thanks to the initiative that started at Christmas for the purchase of family tickets, by booking by January 31st 2021 you can take part in an extraordinary event guided tour with the director of the building. 

Also in the courtyard of honor of the Royal Palace you can visit the exhibition for free Almost Home dedicated to Rosa Louise Parks, which was extended until May 31, 2021 due to the last closure. Meanwhile, the opening of the beautiful hanging gardens is also planned.

Anti-Covid rules 19

The Royal Palace of Naples will be open to the public Monday to Friday from 09: 00 to 20: 00, will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays and on public holidays.

During the visits it will be it is mandatory to use the mask, respect the social distancing, the entrances will be limited with a reduced number of people. Reservations are recommended and the ticket must be purchased online.
