Second edition of Regione Lirica at the San Carlo Theater in Naples: many appointments are scheduled in Piazza del Plebiscito!
25 from June to July 17 2021 the second edition of Opera Region, or the festival that will see the participation of the artistic companies of Teatro San Carlo. The special appointments that are scheduled will take place outdoors in the beautiful Piazza del Plebiscito in Naples and will be a strong restart signal in this period of health emergency.
There will be many artists who will take part in this beautiful exhibition such as: Elina Garanča, Anna Netrebko, Yusif Eyvazov, Anita Rachvelishvili, Luca Salsi, of course there will be the Choir, orchestra and corps de ballet by Massimo Napoletano.
Among the conductors, however, there will be Dan Ettinger, Marco Armiliato and Juraj Valčuha.

Carmen, Georges Bizet's opera-comique of four acts, with libretto by Henri Meilhac and Ludovic Halévy. Elina Garanca will be the protagonist of the show and with her there will be Jean-François Borras in the role of Don José and Mattia Olivieri will play Escamillo.
July 4 2021
Ballet of the San Carlo Theater entitled "Swan Lake / Sleeping Beauty"Cured. The ballet in the first part will consist of some extracts from Sleeping Beauty by Pëtr Il'ič Čajkovskij with the choreography of Marius Petipa and in the second part the II Act from Swan Lake by Pëtr Il'ič Čajkovskij with the choreography of Rudolf Nureyev .

The orchestra and choir of the San Carlo Theater will perform in the concert Suite # 2 from Spartacus by Aram Khachaturian and cantata by Sergej Prokof'ev Alexander Nevskij Op. 78 with maestro Juraj Valcuha.

Trovatore di Giuseppe Verdi with Luca Salsi who will play the Count of Luna, Anna Netrebko in the role of Leonora, Yusif Eyvazov will be Manrico and Anita Rachvelishvili in Azucena.
Furthermore, if the theaters will be open from 25 to 31 July, it will take place, again at the San Carlo Theater, the Elixir of Love by Gaetano Donizetti.
Events in Campania
The event Opera Region it will not be limited only to Piazza Plebiscito but it will foresee a real widespread season in which great music will be the real protagonist throughout the Campania region. Various appointments will therefore take place throughout the Campania region.
29 June and 1 July
On 29 June a Summerhill and on 1 July in Vesuvian Villas, the Choir of the San Carlo Theater in Naples will perform in Carmina burana by Carl Orff, under the direction of maestro Josè Luis Basso.
11 July and 17 July
On 11 July at the Bourbon Palace and on 17 July at the Peria della Palace of Caserta the special appointment with the Ballet of the Teatro di San Carlo with From Petipa to Nurayev.
16, 24, 28 and 30 July and 16 September
On July 16th at Roman Theater of Benevento, on 24 July atGoleto Abbey, on July 28 al Real Site of Carditello, on July 30 in Archaeological Park of the Phlegraean Fields and on September 16th atCampanian amphitheater of Santa Mari Capua Vetere, the Orchestra of the San Carlo Theater in Naples, directed by Maurizio Agostini, will hold a concert dedicated to film music.
July 18
At the Aperia of the Royal Palace of Caserta the special symphonic concert with the San Carlo Theater Orchestra conducted by Juraj Valcuha and the solo violin Gennaro Cardaropoli.
19 Settembre
The Chorus of the San Carlo Theater under the direction of Josè Louis Basso, will perform the Cantata for Soli, Chorus and Organ by Gaetano Manna, on the occasion of the celebrations for the patron saint of the city of Naples, Saint Gennaro.
At the San Carlo Theater the concert with the three great tenors Francesco Meli, Javier Camarena e Francesco Demuro, to pay tribute to Enrico Caruso on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his death.
