The Teatro San Carlo in Naples is pleased to host the next 6 April the famous South African soprano Pretty Yende, who will perform on stage at the theatre after the recent renovation of the structure.

The concert includes the piano accompaniment of Michele D'Elia and includes pieces by important composers such as Mozart, Rossini, Debussy, Liszt and Donizetti. A selection of pieces that will highlight extraordinary vocal skills and artistic of the singer, already appreciated by the Neapolitan public for her interpretation of the Verdi's Traviata directed by Ozpetek last July.
A preview of the coronation event
This concert not only represents a moment of great entertainment for the public, but will almost be a real preview of the event that will see Yende perform, next 6 May, at Westminster Abbey in London, on the occasion of thecoronation of King Charles III and of the queen consort Camilla.

A prestigious performance that sees the South African singer among the talents selected by Buckingham Palace for the official ceremony.
In regards to his participation, Yende stated that he feel honored and lucky to receive such a prestigious invitation, stating:
It is difficult to put into words how honored and lucky I feel to be invited to perform at the Coronation of Their Majesties the King and Queen Consort at Westminster Abbey
