Show for Totò in Naples in Piazza San Domenico Maggiore and in the courtyard of the Basilica in Naples among lamps, colors and poetry!
In the context of May of the Monuments another will be organized evocative event in honor of Totò the 18 May 2017.
The locations are historic Piazza San Domenico Maggiore and Courtyard of the Convent of San Domenico for the “Thanks Totò- Prince of Laughter” initiative.
The event will take place with a show in Piazza tra poetry, lights, colors and balloons and with a walk in a ideal forest in the backyard.
Show in Piazza San Domenico Maggiore
Numerous will be installed in the square colored lamps that will form a large circle within which the event will take place, as if it were a theatrical cavea. Each lamp will represent the scenic arc for every single poet who will intervene and declaim his poetry, flanked by a musician who will accompany him at intervals. In this atmosphere there will be a party, marked by poetry and music.
Suddenly the show will stop for the intervention of Totò himself who will impose silence on everyone, starting the flight of dozens of balloons with his effigy. In the circle will be opened four cages from which other balloons will be released and all this will represent the spirit of Totò that will rise to the sky in the fullness of his freedom.
Each balloon will be a thank you for the Prince of Laughter.
Event in the Courtyard of San Domenico Maggiore
One will be recreated in the courtyard artificial and colorful forest with three large tree silhouettes in forex among whose branches will appear 8 circles that symbolize, like the tasty fruits, the comic comedian of Totò. They were made by some artists who wanted to give life to his grimaces and jokes. It will be possible to walk in this sort of Garden of Eden that will give the viewer peace and serenity through comedy.
