After the great success obtained last month, the management of the Bosco and the Capodimonte Museum has decided to re-propose the initiative for the evening opening of the Bosco so it will remain open until late for all evenings in September.
The month will still be warm and pleasant and it will certainly be very relaxing to walk in the woods in the evening atmosphere until 22.00.
Specifically, the prairies of Real Bosco will be open until 20.00, while after 20.00 only the Gardens around the Palace and the Belvedere will be open.
The new areas and meadows of the Capodimonte Wood
In the Bosco di Capodimonte there are also some nice news:
- New turf that resist pathogens and summer temperatures which are generally very high, with a modern eco-sustainable irrigation system;
- Two picnic areas, the prairie between Porta Caccetta and the Church of San Gennaro and the Prateria della Quercia near the rugby field;
- Areas for the sports;
- Two areas dedicated to dogs, divided according to size;
- new benches in the shade;
- Il late baroque garden with 5000 plants on 17 km of avenues;
- La Church of San Gennaro reopened;
- Le 14 statues of the restored middle door hemicycle.
