Beautiful initiative of the National Archaeological Museum of Naples: the images of the most beautiful works of the MANN will be exhibited in the Galleria Principe!

Il National archeologic museum of Naples proposes the beautiful project entitled "the MANN for the city”Allowing all Neapolitan citizens to admire art even outside the Museums, since they are currently closed due to anti-Covid 19 regulations.

The MANN for the city

The director of the Museum, Paolo Giulierini, has decided to re-propose the shots of Dario Assisi and Riccardo Maria Cipolla for the city of Naples. The two were already protagonists last year of the beautiful and original exhibition Escape from the Museum hosted in the Farnese Bull hall.

The two authors, using the photomontage technique, had allowed the beautiful ones statues kept at the MANN of go free for the city, between streets and historical monuments.

Now the exhibition will be visible under the Galleria Principe, in fact thanks to totem of about 2 meters tall, you can admire the brilliant images. At the same time the friendly shops, from via Pessina to Piazza Dante, via Costantinopoli, via Santa Teresa degli Scalzi, via Broggia, via Conte di Ruvo, will exhibit in their shop windows the original work or a reproduction thereof.

Comix comics

At the same time as this project, MANN has also decided to promote a second initiative which concerns its outdoor spaces. In fact, they will be reproduced on the lining of the Museum's yards twelve tables of the 2021 calendar, made by Italian School of Comix drawing inspiration from twelve labors of Hercules.
