Teatri di Pietra, at the Pausilypon Archaeological Park, aims to revive ancient archaeological sites thanks to live performances
The XNUMXth edition of the event Stone Theaters of terra, as usual, in the fascinating historical setting of the Imperial Villa of the Environmental Archaeological Park of Pausilypon. The place is suitable for events like this Suggestions at the Imbrunie held between May and June last, and will not disappoint all lovers of the theater.
From the 17 July up to the 4 August, a series of theatrical performances will take place to give the right value to ancient sites and theaters through the live show. The event was conceived by Capua Antica Festival, in collaboration with the Special Superintendence for Archaeological Heritage of Naples and Pompeii and the patronage of the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities and the Campania Region, and includes 8 appointments of musical theater and dance on classical and Mediterranean themes.
To give life to the event, not only national artists, but also artists of international caliber such as Nigar Hasib and Djibril Gningue. As explained by the artistic director Aurelio Gatti:
The goal is the creation of an integrated tourism system, aimed at the contemporary use of archaeological areas through the show, experimenting with the study of models of use and innovative management of heritage, in the broader perspective of a renewed alliance between citizens and territories
