Here are the timetables of the cemeteries of Naples, the Commemoration of the Dead 2020 and the anti-Covid security measures to avoid gatherings.

This is a health emergency year since Coronavirus, as we know, and also to better enjoy the day of the Commemoration of the Dead, November 2, 2020, a Napoli some security measures have been taken and the schedules of cemeteries in the city.

The Municipality has also ordered one thorough cleaning and tree cutting and vegetation, implemented by the 25 June Cooperative and by the operators of the Civil Protection, in order to allow a better use of the cemeteries.

Hours of cemeteries in Naples

From October 28 to November 2, all cemeteries will be open from 7.00 to 16.00. All access gates will be open and these measures will be used for avoid gatherings outside and inside, especially on the days when the turnout is greater, that is 31 October and 1 and 2 November.

ANM ordered the upgrading of buses for cemeteries. For the Poggioreale cemetery there are also internal shuttles.

Anti-Covid security

In addition to the cleaning already mentioned, to promote mobility and avoid gatherings, the entrances to the cemeteries will be managed by the local police and municipal staff. In the same way, internal and external traffic will be managed.

At the entrance to the closed rooms of the cemeteries, such as buildings, congregations and hypogea, they will be installed disinfectant gel dispensers. Staff will measure the temperature individual at the entrance and will guarantee the maintaining the safety distance.

One is planned Solemn Pontifical Mass officiated by Cardinal Crescenzo Sepe in the Mother Church of the Monumental Cemetery with the deposition of wreaths in front of the memorable chapels of Naples and the history of our country.
