In Minori the diffused theater starts with itinerant shows in the alleys and the suggestive videomapping

From the 2 4 2022 September an interesting review of widespread theater in the alleys of Minori, on the Amalfi Coast, along the ancient Roman roads, with the view of the Path of the Gods from above, between the open spaces and the sea. In short, in many breathtaking scenarios of our region. It is called "Femmene e mare".

The shows will be accompanied by videomapping, between colors and scenic effects: we are talking about the projection of moving figures and images on the facades of buildings and monuments for a result that will arouse great amazement.

Thanks to the organizers of Taste Minori, of which this review is part, will be 5 the scenic paintings that will be organized in 4 points of the village and each scene will last 20 minutes.

The theatrical itinerary through the streets of the village of Minori

The four shows will follow one another in a short time in a theatrical itinerary in the Streets of Art. Streets that during the day are dedicated to walking or shopping, in the evening become the stage of the diffused theater.

To these four shows there will also be a fifth one that stages the story of two sisters, Aisha and Faizha.

The shows will take place every evening on the three evenings of September, uninterruptedly from 21.00 to midnight.

The themes of the theatrical review: homage to women

This event which is part of the Gusta Minori, as mentioned, makes the following its own temi, according to the organizers:

La  war is not a woman,indifference is not a woman, thearrogance she is not a woman but love, peace, hope yes… .. Life is Woman.

So it will be a real one homage to the woman and we will talk about respect, diversity, integration, coexistence and welcome.

The places of theatrical performances

Here's where the shows will take place:

  • the first scene with videomapping will be on Basilica of Santa Trofimena;
  • the second scene will be a Calata Bridge, a strategic place, with actors, singers and musicians immersed in the people;
  • the third scene will be on the Pier on the sea;
  • the fourth scene will be in the suggestive piazzetta of Largo Solaio dei Pasta Makers;
  • the fifth scene will be itinerant and it will not have a fixed place.

As anticipated, each scene will last 20 minutes, then the actors will move, giving the audience time to change places.

The story of Aisha and Faizha

The fifth show will be dedicated to the history of Aisha and Faizha, two of the many little girls who, to escape the horrors of a war, are sink into the Mediterranean during a tough journey. Indeed, one of them survives and her purpose is to tell the story of her little sister. Their story is intended as a warning to ensure that these tragedies do not happen again.

Theirs are fictional names, but they tell one true story which unfortunately we often hear on the news. Two little girls like many who found themselves facing a tragic destiny.

During the crossing in the Mediterranean, the ferryman on duty divides the two sisters during a storm, because he discovers that one of the two did not pay for the ticket. The child, Aisha, is thrown into the sea in front of her little sister's eyes, Faizha, survived.

Growing up, Faizha became a mother and gave her daughter the name of her lost little sister. She has also become one established writer and, in one of his books, he did relive the spirit of Aisha so that it is a teaching for all.

He will also participate in the show Vladimir Luxuria which, with the Acsi Ballet Company, directed by the choreographer Dino Carano, will give the opportunity to reflect on important issues such as medium-high pace, solidarity , gender equality.

The music of the Neapolitan song will follow, always with a tribute to the woman, with the songs of the great authors of the past such as Raffaele VivianiEduardo De Filippo e Salvatore Di Giacomo, and the second scene will see the participation of Rosaria De Cicco, Laura Lazzari and Massimo Masiello.

Connections by sea between Salerno and Minori

On the occasion of this theatrical review, from 2 to 4 September they will be there every evening connections between Salerno and Minori means Travel Mar with the following races:

  • departure from Salerno in Piazza della Concordia at 20.00;
  • return from Minori at 23.40 pm.
