Il San Carlo Theater of Naples proposes from September 10 to September 23, 2025 a new production of Tosca, melodrama in three acts by Giacomo Puccini With a libretto by Giuseppe Giacosa and Luigi Illica, based on the play by Victorien Sardou. One of the most famous operas in the repertoire, it returns to the Neapolitan stage with a powerful production by internationally renowned Italian artists.

A contemporary direction for an immortal classic

The direction of this Tosca is entrusted to the director Edoardo De Angelis, with scenes created by the artist Mimmo Paladino and the costumes designed by Massimo cantini parriniThe lighting design is by Caesar Accepts, while the videos are curated by Alexander Pope.
