La Casina Vanvitelliana
The Casina Vanvitelliana was built in the 1782 da Carlo Vanvitelli, son of Luigi Vanvitelli, the architect of the Palace of Caserta, at the request of Ferdinand IV of Bourbon.
It is located on a small island on the Lake Fusaro of Bacoli and is connected to the mainland through a wooden pier. Basically, it is a real casino then made for hunting and fishing purposes.
The architecture, composed of geometric shapes, large windows and terraces, then joined to the mirror of water that frames it, makes the villa particularly charming and evocative.
Famous men were guests of the house, such as Rossini, Mozart and the President of the Republic Luigi Einaudi.

Opening time:
- Summer hours (01/04 - 31/10): Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 10am to 20pm
- Winter opening hours (01/11 - 31/03): Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 10am to 18pm
- Last admission half an hour before closing
- On the occasion of particular events, some environments may be temporarily not open to visitors or request early closure of the site
- In case of adverse weather conditions the site could be closed

- Address: Piazza Gioacchino Rossini, 1 - 80070 Lake Fusaro (Bacoli-Naples)
- Sepsa: Fusaro station, continue on foot on Via Giulio Cesare and Via Ottaviano Augusto and take viale Carlo Vanvitelli until you reach Piazza Gioacchino Rossini (about 12 minutes)
