The Three Magicians plus One at the Vomero tournament: the esoteric Naples meets with the Maghetto London
1 and 2 June and then 7, 8 and 9 June 2019 al Vomero, Napoli, the second edition of the tournament will take place Three Wizards plus One. The stakes are a trip to London with a visit to where the films of the British wizard were filmed.
The tournament is organized from the Iocisto Library (in piazza Fuga) and will see the participation of the six most important schools of magic and witchcraft in the world, called to clash in RPGs, spell competitions and, above all, to participate in an exciting one treasure hunt. A treasure hunt, the latter, designed to link Naples to the magical world of Harry Potter.
The program:
Saturday June 1
16.00 hours: sorting
As per tradition, it will be the Goblet of Fire to share the participants in the six magic schools of Beauxbatons, Durmstrang, Castelobruxo, Ilvermorny, Uagadou and Mahoutokoro.
Sunday June 2th
10.00 Hours: Treasure Hunt
The teams will have to run around the city in search of enchanted objects and secret portals that give access to the magical world, challenging each other in a spectacular treasure hunt.
Friday June 7th
19.00-24.00 hours: Gran Ball del Ceppo
Participation in the dance is free. For the students of magic schools there is an additional test. They will have to compete in a competition for the creation of their school's uniform. Extra points will go to the best one to go up in the rankings.
Anyone, then, by paying 5 euro, can participate in the parade and win a stay at the Nautilus Village.
At the end of the evening, the announcement of the three schools that will move on to the next phase.
Saturday June 8th
17.00 Hours: Megatrivial themed Harry Potter.
In piazza Fuga. The winner goes to the last stage of the race.
Sunday June 9th
17.00 hours: final duel
The students of the winning school will have to deal with each other in a spell challenge. The winner of this test will be able to fly up to London.
The cost
Thirty euros for each participant, plus 5 euros for those who want to participate in the parade. There is no age limit, but children under 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
The Tre Maghi + Uno Tournament is linked, again this year, with a literary writing competition for short stories with the theme "Magic".
The announcement of the winner will take place on 31 October 2019.
