During the summer of 2017 you can participate in the evening guided tours of the Solfatare with geothermal cooking, experiments and stories for children!
Also for thesummer 2017 you can make interesting evening guided tours at Solfatara volcano, in Pozzuoli, to live in an alternative way this very fascinating place.
The visits, entitled "Solfatara of stars", they will take place every Saturday from 8 July to 26 August and other dates will also be included in which we will dedicate ourselves to astronomical observation of the stars thanks to the support of experts in the sector.
In the already organized calendar, instead, they will allow to know the millenary volcano during the night hours and with the special lighting of headlights that will create suggestive play of light and with the help of expert guides. You can participate in scientific experiments, they will listen stories for children and adults and you will make delicious tastings.
Solfatara geothermal kitchen
The geothermal cooking experiment will take place in the major fumaroles of the Soflatara. Anancient technique by cooking the anchovies directly in the steam of a fumarole at 160 °. The staff of the volcano will explain how to do it and, after the experiment, all participants will be able to taste the anchovies cooked in this original way together with a glass of Falanghina dei Campi Flegrei.

Prices for evening visits
Tickets have the following costs:
- 15 euro for adults
- 6 euro for children from 5 to 12 years
- free for children from 0 to 5 years
