Il 14 May 2022 finally the Giro d'Italia returns to our areas and the Neapolitan stage, number 8, will involve beautiful areas of the our city and the area of Campi Flegrei, also as a tribute to Procida which this year is the Italian Capital of Culture with a long program of events all year long.
Saturday 14 May, after 9 years of absence, the stage of the Giro d'Italia will touch Naples, Pozzuoli, Bacoli and Monte di Procida and for the occasion a temporary traffic device will be set up with the closure of some roads.
The official order was published by the Municipality of Naples for this 105th Giro d'Italia which will affect all 10 Municipalities in the city. For the moment we communicate the device relating to Naples.

- in piazza Sannazaro, in the carriageway from the intersection with the Galleria Laziale to the confluence with via Giordano Bruno
- in via Giordano Bruno, from the confluence with piazza Sannazaro to the confluence with piazza della Repubblica

22:00 on May 14, two-way traffic in via Mergellina, from the confluence with via Posillipo
at the intersection with the avenue connecting with via Caracciolo;
From 7:00 am to 15:00 pm and in any case until the needs of May 14th cease:
- ban on transit and parking with forced removal, in the carriageway of Piazza del Plebiscito in front of the Commiliter building;
- the prohibition of vehicular transit except: the vehicles of residents, the vehicles with the "H" mark with an invalid on board, the vehicles for emergencies and rescue, in via Solitaria, piazzetta Salazar, Paggeria ramps (which will circulate in alternating one-way ).
