Rebirth in Amalfi: A parade and award for women's emancipation

On Thursday, September 3, Amalfi will host Trame di Rinascita , an initiative promoted by the La Crisalide in Rete Foundation , led by president Roberta Bolettieri , with the high patronage of the City of Amalfi . Fashion and high-quality Made in Italy craftsmanship become tools of emancipation and redemption for women escaping situations of violence.

The program starts at 18:30 pm from the Arsenali di Amalfi and continues in Piazza Duomo with the parade open to the public, the presentation of the first edition of the Trame di Rinascita Award and a flashmob of 100 women dressed in red.

The project: the first social tailoring shop for Made in Italy products

Behind the event is a concrete journey: the women welcomed into the shelters and facilities of the Foundation, after a training program, were placed in tailoring workshops , giving life to the first Made in Italy social tailoring workshop . A model in which professionalization and skills combine with the revival of high-quality craftsmanship.

The evening opens in the Amalfi Arsenals with institutional greetings and the talk " Women: Protagonists of Today, Pillars of the Future ," a debate between the judiciary, institutions, and the media.
