Vicenza sandwiches recalled due to Listeria contamination
The Ministry of Health has published a new warning food recall which concerns a batch of Vicenza-style sandwiches with radicchio and porchetta brand IntrapanThe report comes after a few days without new alerts and involves a ready-to-eat product distributed in refrigerated packaging. The reason for the recall is the presence of Listeria monocytogenes, detected in the raw material used to prepare porchetta. The company has recalled the affected batch as a precaution and urges consumers to carefully check the packaging, batch, and expiration date.
Product recalled due to microbiological risk
The recall concerns a specific batch of ready-made sandwiches:
- Product: Vicenza-style radicchio and porchetta sandwiches
- Brand: Intrapan
- Format: 140 g pack
- Batch number: 260408
- Expiration date: 13/05/2026
The reason given in the official notice is the presence of Listeria monocytogenes less than 10 CFU/g, found in the porchetta used as an ingredient.
