At the beginning of January 2019 the company Trenitalia has decided to make the tickets without reservation on Frecciarossa trains, so that you can also buy i standing places to travel with the company. This is a valid experiment of the company for all the arrows, therefore also for those leaving from Campania.
In fact, Trenitalia had also in the past experimented with the sale of standing seats, but since 2015 the initiative has been interrupted, at the invitation of the National Railway Safety Agency.
From this month, however, return tickets without reservation and initially only 30 will be made available for each train. A minimum quantity that will serve to evaluate the effectiveness or not of the service so as to decide whether to keep it for the future.
Il price of such tickets is the basic one of the second class of travel and if they continue to be sold, they will surely make it even more flexible to move with Frecciarossa trains.
