Information on the temporary traffic device in Naples on the occasion of the 2019 Universiade.
On the occasion of '2019 Universiade in Naples, the Municipality has prepared a traffic device which will be active from a few days before the start of the event.
From 24 June at 14 July 2019, the areas affected by the device are those near the Stadio San Paoloand Scandone pool, of Palabarbuto, of the Mostra d'Oltremare, of the CUS Naples, the Virgilian Park, of the Circolo Italia, of the Circolo del Tennis, of the Polifunzionale di Soccavo, of the Necklace Stadium, of the Paladennerlein and Palavesuvio.
Specifically, they are planned parking and stop bans in various ways that will be useful for the carrying out of the Universiade.
We remind you that there is also a public transport service designed for the event with extended runs on the 1 line and Central Funicular, buses that change the route e rides to Cumana and Circumflegrea at night.
Here are all the details of the device.
Traffic device for the Universiade
- from 24 June to 14 July 2019 and in any case up to ceased needs, to allow tenders to the University Sports Center (CUS), there is a ban on parking with forced removal and a ban on stopping in via Campegna, on both sides of the road, from the entrance to the shooting range in via Cavalleggeri d'Aosta and in via Campegna, adjacent to the "Giacinto Gigante" school ;
- to allow the competitions to be held at PalaBarbuto and Scandone pool, from 24 June to 16 July 2019, or until ceased needs, a parking ban with forced removal and a ban on stopping in via Labriola and Viale Giochi del Mediterraneo are established along the stretch of road between the intersections of via Labriola and Via Barbagallo;
- for competitions on Naples seafront (Tennis Club), it is established by 24 June to 16 July 2019, or until ceased needs, it is established the ban on parking with forced removal and the prohibition to stop in Viale Dohrn in the section between the Rotonda Diaz and Piazza della Repubblica, on the Tennis Club ;
- from 24 June to 16 July 2019, and always until ceased needs, for the races at Palavesuvio there is a ban on parking with forced removal and a ban on stopping in via L. Napoletano, on both sides, in via Petri, on both sides and on via Argine towards Naples.
