The monumental complex of Santa Sofia in Salerno will host the multimedia exhibition "Van Gogh - The immersive exhibition", the project that will involve the public at 360 °.

A Salerno, in monumental complex of Santa Sofia located in piazza Abate Conforti, Will be held from the 23 November 2019 to the 23 February 2020 the unmissable multimedia exhibition entitled "Van Gogh - The immersive exhibition".

With this event we want to retrace the extraordinary career of the famous through images Flemish painter, who with his works has fascinated generations over generations of art lovers.

The exhibition has the peculiarity of being developed and created so that the observer is completely involved in the paintings of Van Gogh that for the occasion, thanks to a mechanism of 3D mapping projections, come to life animated.

The exhibition is divided into three parts, where at first you walk through the gallery where there are various thematic areas that present all the works of the painter, giving information on the studies undertaken and on his pictorial style.

In the second part the lights go out and come only one work illuminated at a time, creating a very suggestive and pathos effect.

The third part tells the final phase of his career and life, the one in which the artist began to show signs of deep inner bewilderment and madness, which ends with the presentation of his latest work "Cornfield with Crows".
