Road and transport in Naples today, August 4, 2026: closures and updates

SUBWAYS

Work continues on the Line 1: the stations will remain closed until September 13th Piscinola, Chiaiano e Frullone for the renewal of the railway infrastructure. Traffic is active on the route Colli Aminei - Business Center, with special one-way services from Piscinola to Colli Aminei and replacement shuttles. The second exits on Via dell'Erba, Rione Alto II, Montecalvario, and Montedonzelli are also closed until September 6th. The Scampia, Chiaiano, and Frullone parking lots remain open. Line 6From August 10th to 23rd, the service will end every day around 2:00 PM (last ride from Mostra and Municipio at 1:50 PM). TRAINS

BUSES AND TRAMS

On EAV bus lines, services are cancelled today on lines 924 (Caivano-Afragola-Piscinola/P.ta Nolana), 008 (Meta-Massalubrense), 178 and 197 (Ischia, Line 8 and Circular Right). It is recommended to check the cancellations portal before travelling. The EAV ski lifts are out of service today. Fuorigrotta (16.30-23.11), Mostra (10.30-16.30), soccavo (16.30-23.11) and Pianura (10.30-23.11). The prolonged shutdown of the elevators continues Pomigliano (NA 25), San Giorgio a Cremano e Naples Porta Nolana (SA 53), out of service for days.
