All normal for local public transport in Naples today, Monday, July 13, 2026. No strikes in the city, the metro and funiculars will operate regularly with weekday schedules. New construction work begins today on via Amerigo Vespucci e Old Forno Street, with changes to buses and trams. Work also continues on Riviera di Chiaia and Via Posillipo. Here are all the updates.

🟢 SUBWAYS

Regular service for the Metro Line 1 Today, Monday, July 13th. The line follows the standard weekday timetable, with the last services around 23:00 PM. Also adjust the Line 6 and all the funiculars (Central, Chiaia, Montesanto and Mergellina). No early closures or scheduled interruptions.

🟢 TRAINS

Scheduled maintenance work continues at the Naples hub which affects the regional lines Rome – Formia – Minturno – Naples, Naples - Benevento, Naples – Sapri – Paola, Caserta – Salerno, Torre Annunziata – Naples Central Station e Nocera Inferiore – SalernoPossible delays, restrictions, and cancellations. Disruptions on the route continue. Battipaglia – Paola with active replacement buses.

On the EAV line Naples - Piedimonte MateseUntil September 13, 2026, several trains will be canceled from Monday to Friday, replaced by D'Agostino buses for the entire route. Changes will also be made to the EAV line. Naples - Baiano for the summer rescheduling of bus services.

🟢 BUSES AND TRAMS

Work continues on the new tram line between Saint John e piazza SannazaroThe transit ban remains in effect Riviera di Chiaia Street from number 9 to Piazza della Repubblica and on Giambattista Pergolesi Street Between Via Riviera di Chiaia and Via Antonio Gramsci. Work will continue until August 31st.

From today, Monday 13 July, excavation work begins in via Amerigo VespucciTram service on the affected stretch will be suspended from 7:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m. on weekdays, with the ANM bus stops being relocated. A replacement bus service is available.

🟢 TRAFFIC

ABC Napoli works continue for the sewer divider on via Posillipo Between numbers 372 and 386. Alternating one-way traffic, permanent parking ban with removal, traffic controllers during the day and traffic lights at night. Construction sites closed every Friday to limit weekend disruption. Work will continue until September 9, 2026.

From today Road redevelopment works also start in Old Forno Street (2nd Municipality), with a traffic ban in the section between number 36 and Via Pasquale Scura and alternating one-way traffic up to Piazzetta Fabrizio Pignatelli.

No local public transport strike is scheduled in Naples for today, Monday, July 13th. To be noted for tomorrow, Tuesday July 14, the 4-hour staff strike EAV Automotive Transport Division from 9:00 to 13:00, which could affect extra-urban bus lines.
