subways

Summer closures continue on Line 1 : the Piscinola , Chiaiano, and Frullone stations will remain closed until September 13th for track renewal work, with replacement shuttle buses in service. Restrictions on the second exits at Via dell'Erba , Rione Alto II , Montecalvario, and Montedonzelli will also remain in effect until September 6th.

Service on Line 7 between Soccavo and Monte Sant'Angelo continues to be suspended for construction work, with the scheduled completion date being August 31st. On Line 2 , the Pozzuoli-Campi Flegrei section (underway since June 21st for bradyseism-related work in the Flegrea Tunnel) continues to be suspended , with replacement buses operating. Construction work at Piazza Amedeo station will remain active until September 4th.

trains

On the lines operated by EAV , the Cumana train remains closed between Bagnoli and Torregaveta following the earthquake of July 31, with replacement buses operating along the route. On the Circumflegrea train , widespread delays of approximately 20 minutes were reported yesterday evening, along with the cancellation of trains 9182 (18:21 PM from Montesanto to Bagnoli) and 9183 (18:34 PM from Bagnoli to Montesanto).

On the Vesuvian Lines, the scheduled interruption remains in force for the adaptation work on the Bosco di Portici and Cavalli di Bronzo tunnels : please remember that the stopping point at Ercolano Scavi is in Corso Resina (SS18), on the corner with Via Marconi.

As regards Trenitalia/RFI , traffic at the Naples hub appears to be normal: no suspensions in progress on the Rome – Naples lines (via Formia and via Cassino) and on Line 2 , in addition to the construction sites already reported in Piazza Amedeo.

Bus and tram

Today, Sunday, August 30, several EAV ski lifts will be out of service: the Soccavo lifts from 4:30 am to 16:30 pm, the Mostra lifts from 10:30 am to 16:30 pm, the Piave lift from 10:30 am to 11:11 pm, the Fuorigrotta lift from 23:30 pm to 11:16 pm, and the Pianura lift from 23:30 pm to 16:23 pm. Lift NA 149 at the Montesanto station will also be out of service from August 26 until further notice.

The Mergellina funicular (shuttle bus 621 is active) and Montesanto funiculars, which have been closed since May, remain closed. No problems have been reported with ANM and EAV bus services , while the Faito cable car remains in its regular schedule.

Ship and hydrofoils

No cancellations reported today on maritime connections between Naples and the islands of the Gulf ( Capri , Ischia , Procida ): regular hydrofoils and ferries.

How to move in Naples

Please be aware of the Naples ring road this evening: at the request of the Prefecture, the Fuorigrotta exit will be closed from 19:15 PM today until further notice, due to the Napoli-Como match scheduled for 18:30 PM at the Maradona Stadium. Vehicles coming from Pozzuoli and the highways are advised to take the Agnano exit.

The week of nighttime closures on the ring road has concluded: no closures are scheduled for the night between Sunday, August 30th and Monday, August 31st. Work continues in the Solfatara and Capodimonte West tunnels , which will result in further nighttime closures starting Monday.

Strikes

No public transport strikes are planned today in Campania. A national strike has been announced for the railway and local public transport sectors, possibly involving EAV , for September 7th and 8th. Updates will follow.

From tomorrow

Starting Monday, August 31st, nighttime closures on the Naples Ring Road will resume for tunnel upgrades: the Capodichino Airport–Capodimonte section towards Pozzuoli and the Arco Felice–Agnano section towards the highways will be closed from 23:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with mandatory exits and designated alternative routes. The summer suspension of Line 7 Soccavo–Monte Sant'Angelo will also expire on Monday.
