Sunday, July 5, 2026, a busy day for travelers in Campania and the rest of Italy. Today marks the start of a national air transport strike, work continues on the Naples-Salerno line, and the first real weekend of the summer exodus, with red-flagged highways. Here's the latest situation.

Line 1 — Regular service on most of the route. Station closures continue. Piscinola, Chiaiano e Frullone until September 13th for railway track renewal work. Replacement bus shuttles are active between Piscinola and Colli Aminei. The second departures Rione Alto II, Montecalvario e Montedonzelli will remain closed until September 6th.

Line 2 — Regular service today. No critical issues reported.

Naples-Salerno — Last day of scheduled maintenance work. Several regional, high-speed, and intercity trains are undergoing timetable changes, partial cancellations, and replacement buses. Naples-Salerno, with effects on trips to Battipaglia, Sapri, Paola, Cosenza and Potenza.

Rome Termini — Maintenance work at the station from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Changes and buses for some regional trains.

Florence railway hub — From today until July 10th, construction work is underway on the high-speed line.
