VinEstate 2026 in Torrecuso: the complete program from September 3rd to 6th

From September 3 to 6, 2026, Torrecuso, in the heart of the Sannio Benevento area, becomes the wine capital with VinEstate , now in its 51st edition . Four days dedicated to tastings , contemporary art , music , literature , and institutional debate , all aimed at promoting the area.

The event, considered the oldest wine festival in the region , this year pays particular attention to the America's Cup Naples 2027 : the belief is that this major international event can represent an extraordinary opportunity to promote the identity , production and cultural heritage of Campania and Sannio.

It is no coincidence that the four days will be symbolically associated with some of the protagonists of the great sailing competition: Ineos Britannia , Team New Zealand , Team Australia and Luna Rossa.

Thursday, September 3: Inauguration and Wine Museum

The program kicks off on Thursday, September 3, at 6:00 p.m. with the inauguration of the event and the Museum of Contemporary Art , in the Sala Nicchie of Palazzo Caracciolo Cito . The cellars and exhibitions open at the same time.

At 18.30 pm it is possible to take part in the guided tour of the Wine Museum and the contemporary art exhibition curated by Francesco Creta , set up between Palazzo Caracciolo Cito and the municipal library.

The food and wine stands open from 7:00 PM . At 8:00 PM , in the Sala Affreschi of Palazzo Caracciolo Cito, there will be a dinner with wine pairings , a sensory journey through dishes and glasses, curated by the Aglianico del Taburno Association and Assosommelier . From 21.00pm the village comes alive with the music of Electric Five , Vintage School Duo , Luiviolino and DJ Christian ; at 22.00pm the travelling band Groupe de Rue Zanzibar arrives.

Friday, September 4: Wine, Conservation, and Literature

Friday, September 4th, begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Conference Room of Palazzo Caracciolo Cito with the round table discussion "The Value of Wine. Protection, Territory, Identity, and Responsibility: The New Challenge for Campania's Winemaking Heritage ," promoted by the Aglianico del Taburno Association.

At 12.00 the book by Salvatore Schiavone , director of the ICQRF Southern Italy , will be presented in dialogue with the journalist Vittorio Vallone.

In the afternoon, starting at 6:00 PM , the cellars and exhibitions reopen . At 6:30 PM, there will be a guided tour of the Wine Museum and, in Piazza A. Mellusi, the Bottega di Mast'Orazio, a children's workshop organized by ATO Rifiuti Benevento (info: 339 280 1995).

At 7:00 PM in the square, "Readings in Sips, in the Name of Noir" with author Annamaria Venere will take place , while the food stands open . At 8:00 PM , dinner with wine pairings returns to the Sala Affreschi of Palazzo Caracciolo Cito (reservations via WhatsApp: 392 584 8855 ).

The evening is enlivened by Ilo Band , Carlo and Antonio Duo , Salamone , Groupe de Rue Zanzibar and Sax Mike.

Saturday, September 5: The conference on the future of Sannio

Saturday, September 5th is the day most closely linked to the America's Cup theme . At 10:30 a.m. , in the Conference Room of Palazzo Caracciolo Cito, a conference on the role of Sannio in the great international challenge will be held , one of the qualifying moments of the entire event.

The mayor of Torrecuso, Angelino Iannella , will open the proceedings . Speakers will include Apostolos Tzitzikostas , European Commissioner for Tourism; Christophe Hansen , European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development; Roberto Fico , President of the Campania Region; Gaetano Manfredi , Mayor of Naples; Maria Carmela Serluca , Councilor for Agriculture of the Campania Region; Pellegrino Mastella , Regional Councilor of Campania; Marzio Perrelli , CEO of the America's Cup; Ettore Varricchio , professor at the University of Sannio; Carmine Coletta , President of the Consortium of Sannio Wine Protection; Maurizio Fontanelle , President of the Pro Loco Pieve Castionese di Belluno. Journalist Luigi Trusio will introduce and moderate the event.

The awards ceremony for the second edition of the Torrecuso Prize will be held at 12:00 pm . In the afternoon, at 6:00 pm , the cellars and exhibitions will open , and the urban walk “Walking through History with Antonio Mellusi” will depart from Piazza A. Fusco , organized by the Circolo Acli Il Castello and Acli Terra.

For the little ones, again at 6:00 pm , the creative workshop "Little Hands, Big Stories" by the SAI of Torrecuso , at the Bottega di Mast'Orazio (info: 334 916 6232). At 6:30 pm, a guided tour of the Wine Museum.

At 7:00 PM , the food stands open and the "Reading in Sips" event returns : guest speaker Antonino Russo , author of "Evolutionary Short Circuit: Between Fake News and Cognitive Distortions ." Sunday, September 6: Closing with Luna Rossa and the Castle Fire

The final day, Sunday 6 September , is symbolically dedicated to Luna Rossa and starts at 10.00 . In Piazza A. Mellusi, the Spherical Cinema for children offers shows at 10.00 and 11.00 , with free admission.

At 10:30 a.m. , in the Council Chamber of Palazzo Caracciolo Cito, a roundtable discussion will be held on "Synergy between Taburno Producers and Winemakers ," organized by the Aglianico del Taburno Association. At 6:30 p.m. , a guided tour of the Oenological Museum of Contemporary Art will take place.

At 7:00 pm the food and wine stands open and, in Piazza Sant'Erasmo, a new appointment with “Readings in sips, in the name of the territory” : Ettore Varricchio , president of Acli Terra Benevento, talks with Carmine Nardone , author of “Masserie and peasant life. The civilization of the earth”.

At 9:00 PM, music with Movimento Popolare Sannita , Bloom Duo , and DJ Christian ; at 10:00 PM , Acquarello Napoletano , a traveling band, and Sax Mike , with street artists taking center stage in the squares. The event concludes at midnight with the traditional Incendio del Castello , a spectacular moment that marks the official closing of VinEstate 2026.

VinEstate 2026 exhibitions

Two exhibitions enrich the program. The traveling photography exhibition dedicated to wine tourism promoters is hosted in Piazza A. Mellusi, at the Bottega di Mast'Orazio. At Palazzo Caracciolo Cito and the Municipal Library , you can visit the contemporary art exhibition curated by Francesco Creta.
