Parco Virgiliano in Naples, the new trees arrive

Virgilian

The trees return to the Virgilian Park in Naples, thanks to a civil society project.

New trees arrive in the Virgilian Park of Naples, reduced by bad weather and neglect to a barren and yellowed desert absolutely unworthy of a great capital like Naples.

The municipal council has adopted a green restoration project presented by the committee "Save the park of Remembrance".

This is a project that will not entail burdens for the Municipality, given that the financing will be provided by a group of city tributaries who live in Posilippo and that they can no longer cohabit with that crap.

They are professionals, lawyers, entrepreneurs, their philosophy is to give a hand to the city they love, simply.

Leaving behind the inevitable bureaucratese, the initiative is none other than civil society that comes to the aid of public authorities, which Neapolitan public powers have demonstrated ad abundantiam to be quite incapable.

The project is not without ambition. It concerns the area of the park near the cavea and is the result of collaboration with some agronomists.

They were entrusted with the task of choosing the essences to be replanted taking into account the climatic changes in progress, so as to select plants that are more resistant to tropical drift which is going to meet not only the South but also the rest of the country.

Total expenditure should be on three hundred thousand euros. The Municipality has made a ban: the sacred rules of the bureaucracy prescribe that there can be no direct reliance.

Let's hope so.
