Theatrical guided tour of the Pausilypon and Gaiola Park
Mother Sea: Tales of Women from the Sea returns on the occasion of May of the Monuments, offering a one-of-a-kind theatrical guided tour. A special event that will lead us into the evocative Pausilypon-Gaiola archaeological-naturalistic area, exploring the profound connection between women and the sea through the voices of mythological, legendary figures and contemporary heroines.
The charm of female stories
The show, written and created by CSI Gaiola onlus in collaboration with The Key of Artemysia, brings the actress on stage Livia Berté, which will bring to life the texts of famous authors.
Works represented include:
- “Neapolitan Legends” by Matilde Serao
- “Inés of my soul” by Isabel Allende
- “Front vacuum” by Sabrina Amadori
- “Sea and Land” by Alda Merini
Texts that will offer us an intimate and passionate look about the stories of women who have a special connection with the sea.

Reservation and useful information
The route is entirely on foot, covering approximately 4 km and including a staircase of 150 steps. Reservation is mandatory and can only be made online at www.gaiola.org/pausilypon.
