Lungomare di Napoli, the rebirth plan: solarium-platforms on the rocks and new accesses to the sea

Rendering Lungomare Caracciolo

A great project was designed to enhance the Waterfront of Naples, to make it an easily accessible place for the citizens themselves and to attract more and more visitors.

At Palazzo San Giacomo, in fact, the municipal administration is studying the various interventions to carry out thecity-sea infrastructure, on the program there are new beaches accessible with bridges and ladders, solarium-platforms on the cliffs, showers, toilets and beds, kiosks, tourist services and so much more. In short, a great and ambitious project that we hope will be realized as soon as possible.

Here is the Naples waterfront project

For the new face of the Lungomare di Napoli we think of the refurbishment of the beaches and the temporary installation, and therefore only for the summer period, of the boards on the city rocks.

As stated by the Councilor for the Environment and the Sea of the Municipality of Naples, Paul Mancuso, the city must be structured in such a way as to allow access to the sea from several points and that these are strategic, precisely to allow everyone to easier access to the sea.

Furthermore, starting from spring 2023 the entire coast of the city, excluding the port area from the Ponte dei Francesi to the Molo San Vincenzo, will pass under the responsibility of the Municipality, and consequently approximately 7 kilometers of coastline, 3 to the east and 4 to the west, from Pietrarsa to La Pietra, will be managed by the municipal administration, with the idea of recovering as many areas as possible and making them available to citizens.

The underground parking on the Lungomare

The creation of the underground car park which will start from Piazza Vittoria and will arrive up to Via Partenope. It will be a large rectangular-shaped parking lot used to contain approx 240 parking spaces.

The level parking lots on the surface will be eliminated, and the entrance and exit will be positioned on the two opposite sides of the square. Much attention will also be given to the surface of the parking lot, with flower beds and trees.
