Neighborhood visits, music and many events will surprise tourists and citizens in a new weekend in Naples!
In this second weekend of April, Napoli it is filled with institutional events, interesting in the weekend from 8 to 10 April 2016. Once again we have events of every type: culture, music, entertainment, fairs and relaxation.
Let's start with cultural events. The city of Naples is inebriated with its artistic and historical riches, immersing itself in the Neapolitan painting of the '600 and in guided tours by neighborhoods. This weekend the citizens will be able to discover and rediscover both the Vomero district that the area that gives via Foria leads to Capodimonte. While the National Museum will propose an exhibition of Tranquilli, in which the comic book superheroes will join the statues of the classical world.
Piazza del Plebiscito will organize a the largest choir in the world with amateur and school choristers, in an event that will involve the whole square. Finally, among the challenges of tennis, barter and used trade fair and Yoga at the Gaiola, Naples will be able to give a varied and certainly not boring weekend.

Superheroes at the National Museum
"Days of a past future”Is the name of the exhibition of Adrian Tranquilli on display at the National Museum. The characteristic of this exhibition is that it is made up of superheroes, all in contrast to the classic works of the museum itself. The alternation between new and old, between the concepts of salvation and sacrifice will make this exhibition a mix of beauty and culture.

Guided tour from Via Foria to Capodimonte
We are at the penultimate stage of the free guided tours tour, all on theenvironmental sustainability and the green enconomy, to try to spread respect for the environment and the consequent quality of life. For this weekend the guided tour covers the district of San Carlo at the Arena with the guidance of Carmine Maturo, expert in sustainable tourism.

Guided tour ncopp or Vommero
Here comes the tour completely dedicated to Vomero district, one of the busiest neighborhoods in Naples. It will be a journey dedicated to 3 main things: art, history and shopping, with visits to the Liberty villas and palaces of the '300, also touching the Market of Antignano. The end of the walk includes an aperitif at one of the hand-made bags stores, in the market itself.

Exhibition on the painting of the '600
Still on display at the Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano, the city of Naples showcases the art of Neapolitan painting of the seventeenth century, with a greater emphasis on Jusepe de Ribera and his followers. Among the various works, the most important is the Saint Catherine of Giovanni Ricca, a mix of techniques painted by various artists. The goal is to preserve the city's artistic heritage.

The Enchanted Square
On Saturday 9 April 2016, the splendid setting of Piazza del Plebiscito will host young people from many regions of Italy for a meeting of school and amateur choirs. Songs by Verdi, Mozart and Neapolitan tradition will be proposed. The network will be leading the evening Rai News and the musical accompaniment will be taken directly from the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella.

Barter and Usual Fair
This weekend, at the Mostra d'Oltremare, there will be the Barter and Usual Fair, now in its 40th edition. The goal is to give a new location to things that are little used by some, but which for others could regain value. This year there will be a novelty: the exhibition-market of Bidon Toys, that is vintage toys of current interest.

Walk of Life Telethon
Back to Naples Walk of Life by Telethon, with the aim of financing research in favor of genetic diseases. Born in 2012, the planned race spreads a message of solidarity towards new healing goals. Everyone will be able to participate in the race, divided into two types: 10 km competitive race and 3 km non-competitive walk.

Live soundtracked silent films - Cabiria
At the Ex Asilo Filangieri, the projections of the silent films with live soundtracks. Moreover, before each film, there will be a screening of a short film, produced by videomakers, which link to the theme proposed by the film in programming. For this weekend there will be a screening of Cabiria, sounded by Crossroads Improring.

Capri Watch Tennis
Naples welcomes the Capri Watch Cup at the Tennis Club, as part of the challenges between the main tennis players. Born in 1995, it has always been a springboard for many famous sportsmen including Kuerten and Ferrero; this year it will be the showcase for Robin Haase and Damir Dzumhur. The proceeds from the event will be used for the children of the Rione Sanità.

Made in the South and Milonga at the Galleria Garibaldi
The Commercial Gallery of Piazza Garibaldi also this week organizes entertainment events, to engage citizens and tourists at 360 degrees. This weekend the comedians of Made in South to cheer the passage of anyone who is in that area. In the program also a free concert of Dear Jack. An important and fundamental opportunity to confirm the station square as a rebirth of Naples.
