The Herculaneum Archaeological Park will open in the evenings on two Saturdays: October 3 and 17, 2026 , from 20:15 PM to 23:30 PM . The event, called Wine Spot at the Excavations , will include a self-guided tour of the illuminated domus, a sommelier-led tasting, and an acoustic jazz set.

What is Wine Spot at the Excavations?

The initiative is curated by Drop Eventi (The Band Agency Srl) with the Ercolano Archaeological Park , as part of the project activities pursuant to Law 132/2022 . Entrance is from Corso Resina 187 and from Via dei Papiri Ercolanesi 19.

For Park Director Federica Colaiacomo, the format is a novel one: the goal is to experience the site through languages other than traditional visits, without losing sight of the centrality of the heritage. The domus are illuminated with artistic lighting , with Vesuvius remaining in the background.
