For Women's Day 2023, a celebration that falls on March 8, there are many initiatives scheduled in Naples that aim to enhance the female figure in art. These include the specials guided tours at the Gallery of Italy in Naples, i.e. the Museums of the Intesa San Paolo Group which are now located in the new headquarters of Palazzo Piacentini in Via Toledo.
The initiative bears the name of The woman in art, the female figure protagonist of many works exhibited in the large collections of the Galleria d'Italia in Naples will in fact be investigated and its evolution, understood as a representation of women in art, starting from the XNUMXth century to the XNUMXth century.
In short, a great initiative and an opportunity to learn about the history of these beautiful works and curiosities concerning the concept of women in art.
