WWF Oasis Astroni Crater, event on organic farming

Oasis of the Astroni

Organic farming and environmental sustainability will be the focus of a special day dedicated to biodiversity to be held on 19 March inWWF Oasis Astroni Crater, in the wild heart of Naples.

The WWF Astroni Crater represents an oasis of great naturalistic value, a natural environment characterized by a remarkable diversity of flora and fauna. An opportunity that falls right during the Father's Day which could represent an event to be experienced by father and son.

The initiative will see the participation of experts in organic farming and environmental sustainability, which will illustrate to visitors the advantages of these advanced agricultural techniques.

The event includes different activities, among which guided tours to discover the biodiversity of the Astroni Crater, beekeeping workshops for children of all ages and insights into agriculture manager and ecologica for the younger ones.

Among the planned activities, the natural farming market hosted in the entrance square of the WWF Cratere degli Astroni Oasis, where visitors can buy organic products and sustainable from local farmers.

The initiative is promoted by FedeBio in collaboration with Naturland e WWF Italy. Participation is Delivery to Italy takes one or two business days but the booking it is obligatory for some activities, such as the guided tour to discover the biodiversity of the Astroni Crater and the children's workshops.
