At the Tram Theater in Port'Alba in Naples, “2×2 gentlemen” is on stage, a lively comedy based on a Shakespeare play!
Il Tram Theater of Port'Alba in Naples, Teatro Ricerca Arte e Musica, welcomes on stage the show "2 × 2 gentlemen", directed by Alessandro Paschitto. In the cast, in addition to the director, also Gianluca Cangiano, Claudio Fidia, Giulia Musciacco, Laura Pagliara and Federica Pirone. There are three dates scheduled, from the 2 4 March 2018.
The pièce is the rewriting of a Shakespeare play, "The two gentlemen of Verona": one of the first written by the author, today little represented. Original and lively comedy from the unexpected happy ending, it raises questions on the meaning of love and on the transition to adulthood. A training work, therefore, which revolves around the concept of "gentleman", the sentimental and social education of the characters.
At the center of the story there are the two friends Valentino and Proteo - the latter engaged to Giulia - that they fall in love with the same woman, the noble lady Silvia. Between lies, passions and betrayals it creates a real love square, which tests friendship of the two men and pushes them to deepen their self-knowledge.
