Venice in Naples 2018: the films of the Venice Film Festival in Naples at 3 euro

In the cinemas of Naples arrive the films of the Venice Film Festival and many international guests with the review "Venice in Naples - the extended cinema 2018"!

The new edition of "Venice in Naples - extended cinema", The film review which offers the most successful films during the Venice International Film Festival and which will be screened in the cinemas of Naples. From the 23 28 October 2018 the main locations will be the following cinemas and institutes: Astra, Modernissimo, La Perla, Magic Vision, Pierrot, Grenoble, the Victory of Naples and the Victory of Aversa.

The event is directed by Antonella Di Nocera and promoted by Parallelo 41, in collaboration with the Federico II University and Arci Movie and is supported by the Campania Region. In addition to the films of the Venice Biennale, many of which are not distributed in Italy, there will be Italian and international guests and the review will be atraining opportunity for many young people and students from the Campania region interested in the world of cinema.

In addition, students of all faculties and high schools in Campania, upon request with motivation, can receive cultural credits and free other advantages that can be consulted on the official website.

Tuesday October 23

Cinema Astra

  • 17.00 pm: “Aquarela” by Victor Kossakovsky, in collaboration with the Goethe Institute. Presented by Antonella Di Nocera and the director of Goethe Maria Carmen Morese.
  • 18.30 pm: “The other side of the wind” by Orson Welles.
  • 21.00 pm: short film “Nobody is innocent” by Tony D'Angelo (Special event at the Venice Critics' Week) with Salvatore Esposito, Riccardo Zinna and Loredana Simioli. Introduced by Diego Nuzzo and Antonella Di Nocera, the director will be present.
  • 21.30 pm: Giorgio Ferrero's “Beatutiful things” arrives exclusively in Naples from the Biennale College 2017. The director and director of photography and co-author Federico Biasin will be present.

Cinema Pierrot by Ponticelli

Thursday 13th October

Cinema Astra

  • 18.30 pm: after the preview of "Zan (Killing)" by Shinya Tsukamoto (17 pm), the exhibition proposes "Death in Venice" by Luchino Visconti (1971), a restored film in the "Classic Venice" category of the Biennale, in collaboration with Cinema Mon Amour and F2 cultura. Free entry. Introduced by Antonella Di Nocera and Anna Masecchia, professor of cinema for the master's degree course in Disciplines of Music and Entertainment at the Federico II University of Naples.
  • 21.0 pm: “Quelle ugte cose” (best technical contribution to the Critics' Week) by Loris Giuseppe Nese in the presence of the director.
  • 21.30 pm: the new film by Roberto Minervini “What you gonna do when the world's on fire?”. Introduced by the writer Massimiliano Virgilio.

  • 18.30 pm: “Mi obra maestra” by Gastòn Duprat.

French institute

  • 19.00 pm: “L'enkas” by Sarah Marx (with Sandrine Bonnaire). Introduces the director with the French consul in Naples Laurent Burindes Roziers.

La Perla Cinema

  • 20.00 pm: “Goodbye Marylin” by Maria Di Razza, present in the room together with the producer Antonietta De Lillo.
  • 20.30 pm: “A story without a name” by Roberto Andò presented by the director and the protagonist Renato Carpentieri. Introduced by Giuseppe Borrone and Bruno Roberti.

  • 17.00 pm: “Anons” by Mahmut Fazil Coşkun in collaboration with the magazine “Kaleydoskop-Turkey culture and society”. Introduced by Lea Nocera, teacher of Turkish language and literature at the Oriental Institute of Naples.
  • 19.00 pm: short "Sugarlove" by Laura Luchetti.
  • 19.15 pm: "Do you remember?" by Valerio Mieli in the presence of the director, moderated by the journalist Natascia Festa.
  • 21.30 pm: “The other side of the wind” by Orson Welles.

  • 19.00 pm: “Bêtes Blondes” by the French directors Alexia Walther and Maxime Matray, present in the room.
