A beautiful initiative was born in Afragola, in the province of Naples, from an idea of the doctor Anna Giugliano, responsible for the CAV, or the Anti-Violence Center of Afragola, to discuss and focus interest on the issue of violence against women.

Thus was born the Red Cassette, that is a real mailbox, which will be useful to collect, in a completely anonymous way, the complaints of all those women who every day find themselves subjected to violence and mistreatment.

The idea was enthusiastically welcomed by the Mayor of Afragola, Antonio Pannone, by the councilor for social policies Francesco Di Micco and by the entire municipal administration.

A box to help women

There are many women who suffer violence and mistreatment, but many do not have the courage and the ability to report, still others do not have the means, which is why together with the Anti-Violence Center of Afragola and the emergency number 1522, which can be contacted at any time, the Red Cassette.

Women who are victims of violence can post their complaint or a note with their own telephone number in the Cassetta Rossa, and in this way they can be helped.
