"Eva", this is the name of the special pizza that was presented in Naples and that comes from the collaboration between Unesco Chair for Health and Sustainability of the University "Frederick II“, Professor Annamaria Colao, nutritionist Francesca Marino and the gastronome Luciano Pignataro.

Her name, Eva, stands for Elixir of life and art, and it will be a very special pizza as it will be a reduced calorie content, in line with a healthy and proper diet. The pizzeria gave life to the recipe Gorizia 1926 in Naples.

Eva: the special pizza

Eva, the new pizza that was presented in Naples, starts from the queen of pizzas, the Margherita, but is prepared using a different blend of flours with a higher percentage of semi-wholemeal flour, rich in micronutrients, and minerals.

In addition, the purified glucomannan, it is a natural fiber that has a slimming action by reducing the intestinal absorption of sugars and fats.

The pizza will be topped with tomato, basil, medicinal plants fried at low temperature and balls of milk froth with probiotics, important for the intestinal microbiota. Instead of salt, theascorbic acid some basil caviar and finally extra virgin olive oil.
